Dressed in head-to-toe MACKAGE, we spoke with native Parisian Virginie Conte, who revealed the secret gems of her old-school city, her effortless style, and how to watch Paris wake up.
IF YOU ONLY HAD 24 HOURS IN PARIS WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
If I only had 24 hours in Paris I would organize my day like this: I will first go and have my coffee on the terrace at Saint Germain des Pres to watch Paris wake up. Then I will go shopping in my two favorite places: the Marais district and the famous Rue Saint Honoré. After lunch break, head to one of my favorite Italian restaurants, “Chez Pippo” in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, which I think is a must!
And I will end the day by going for a stroll at Place Dauphine, which is one of my favorite places in Paris.
WHAT IS SOMETHING IN PARIS THAT YOU HAVEN'T DONE YET BUT HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO?
There is one mythical and impressive thing that I have never done in Paris: visit the Paris catacombs!
WHAT IS THE MOST UNDERRATED THING TO SEE OR DO IN PARIS?
Flea market is an underrated thing to do in Paris! I love going there to find vintage decorative objects like trays, glasses, silver cups.
